ST. GEORGE – Intermountain Healthcare in conjunction with DOCUTAH International Documentary Film Festival will hold a screening of “All These Flowers,” a film by Kevin Bryce. The educational event is part of a series of activities to mark Suicide Prevention Month.

The film documents the lives of six individuals living with bipolar disorder in an honest and compassionate portrayal of how the disease impacts self-identity, families and society. Bryce was drawn to the subject matter after watching loved ones struggle with the stigma of the disorder.

The public is invited to attend the screening and participate in a question and answer session with the film’s director. Community resources for mental health services and suicide prevention will be available.

The event is co-hosted by Dixie Regional Medical Center, the Community Mental Health Alliance, the National Alliance on Mental Health in Southern Utah, Switchpoint, and local suicide prevention organization, Reach4Hope.

The screening will be held Thursday in the SelectHealth Auditorium at 1424 E. Foremaster Drive from 7-9 p.m. DOCUTAH passes are available at docutah.com/tickets. For more information call 435-251-2117.

The 2015 DOCUTAH International Documentary Film Festival is held at Dixie State University in St. George. The 2015 festival runs from Sept. 8-12 and includes filmmaker chats, seminars and gala events, all within the beautiful scenery of Southern Utah’s red rock country.
