Traffic Advisory: Southbound I-15 near Kolob Canyon backed up due to trailer rollover

UPDATE 12:06 p.m. | All lanes are open and the accident is cleared.

UPDATE 11:29 a.m. | One southbound lane is open and traffic is moving slowly.

CEDAR CITY –  Traffic on southbound I-15 is at a standstill due to an accident near milepost 36 near the Ranch exit for Black Ridge, Ash Creek Reservoir and Old Highway 91.

All southbound lanes are shut down, and traffic is backed up six to seven miles, and emergency crews are responding to the scene.

Utah Highway Patrol, Utah Department of Transportation, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Gold Cross Ambulance are among the agencies responding to the accident.

According to Ruth Andrus, a 5th wheel trailer pulled by a pickup truck rolled, and there may be other vehicles involved.
