SAN JUAN COUNTY – Authorities in San Juan County are searching for a Kanab man who has been missing since Sunday.
Monticello was the last known location of 69-year-old Kenneth Johnson. He was traveling through San Juan County visiting archaeological sites when he went missing, according to a press release from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson is 5 feet 10 inches tall and has brown eyes and gray hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was driving a 2006 dark blue Jeep Liberty with a roof rack and a long, narrow carrier compartment. The vehicle’s license plate number, a Utah plate, is X042LM.
Anyone with information about Johnson’s disappearance is asked to call the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office at 435-587-2237.
