CEDAR CITY — The Cedar City Arts Council invites the community to participate in the first of three “Final Friday Gallery Strolls” Friday from 5-8 p.m. as part of the “2015 Cedar City Art Walk.”
The free walk features collaborations between artists, local businesses and galleries located in or near downtown Cedar City. Brochures are available at the Cedar City-Brian Head Tourism Bureau Visitor’s Center or any of the participating locations.
During the “Final Friday Gallery Strolls,” the community is encouraged to enjoy and support the local art festivities Cedar City has to offer by visiting the 15 walk locations.
Information will be available at the Southern Utah University Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts in front of the SUU alumni house. At the information booth, visitors can participate in giveaways and learn more about exciting things in the art community.
Participants are encouraged to begin the walk on the east side of town at the Heritage Center, 105 N. 100 East, and walk west on Center Street and University Blvd toward SUU campus and the Utah Shakespeare Festival, ending at any of the locations on campus.
The “2015 Cedar City Art Walk” and the “Final Friday Gallery Strolls” are free.
