ST. GEORGE — Summer movies in the park in St. George, “Sunset on the Square,” brings “Mr. Peabody and Sherman” Friday at dusk in the Town Square Park.
Now in its seventh year, the summer series features free movies on the second and fourth Fridays of every month through Aug. 28. Movies are screened on a giant screen under the beautiful starry skies of Southern Utah before as many as 1,500-2,000 people, according to the promoter’s press release, and sometimes more on special event nights (listed below).
All are encouraged to come early to enjoy the park, carousel and get the best seats in the park. The fun starts around 6 p.m. with food, vendors and activities including a water balloon challenge, conga lines, hokey pokey games, prizes, splash pad and face painting.
