MESQUITE, Nev. – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 15 Saturday just south of Mesquite, Nevada.
The accident occurred on southbound I-15 near mile marker 120, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said. Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle involved was a truck, she said.
The passenger in the truck, a man, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital following the incident. The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was pronounced dead. (See ed. note)
As this report is published, Stuenkel said she did not know which hospital the driver was taken to, and only preliminary information was available regarding the accident.
The name of the woman who died in the accident has not yet been released.
“We will after the next of kin is notified,” Stuenkel said.
