Zachary A. Horne

(July 5, 1983 – May 8, 2015)

Zachary Horne, was taken from us all, way too soon. Born in Salt Lake City on July 5, 1983 to Michael and Cindy. He passed away on May 8, 2015. He was a beloved brother, and son. Devoted father, and a great friend to all who knew him.

He lived his early years in Kearns and West Jordon area. He moved to Hurricane, Utah, in 2000.

Zac loved the beautiful scenery of southern Utah. He liked to go to the lake with his family and friends, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and especially riding the sand dunes. He loved to be outdoors.

Zachary had a very beautiful and special soul. His smile would light up any room, and an infectious laugh that would make everyone smile.

If you knew Zac, you loved Zac.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Mike Tolle, Hurricane, Utah; three brothers, Michael (Chantay) Horne, Moab Utah, Dustyn (Rachelle) Horne, Kearns, Utah, Chance Horne, Hurricane, Utah; one sister, Alisha Horne, Logan, Utah; one daughter, the light of his life, Ariyanna Icie Horne, and the only true love of his life, Trisha L. Schumacher, St. George, Utah. Also survived by his grandmother, Rena I. Clayton, Hurricane; grandparents Phillip and Sandy Tolle, Hurricane, Utah; eight uncles, six aunts, his cousins, three nephews, eight nieces, and many, many friends.

He is preceded in death by several grandparents, his father Michael G. Horne, brother, Christian L. Clayton, and aunt Shelley.

Funeral Services

  • A remembrance gathering will be held Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff and his friends at Steps Recovery, you helped him find happiness again, we are forever grateful to you for that.

Arrangements have been made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S Bluff St., St. George, Utah, 435-673-2454. Family and friends are invited to sign Zac’s guest book at the Spilsbury Mortuary website.
