(June 9, 1937 – April 20, 2015)
Colin Frederick William Rees, 77, passed peacefully at his home on April 20, 2015, after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born June 9, 1937, in Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, England, to Frederick and Tilly (Staveley) Rees.
He was the father of three children, Julie (deceased), Andrew Steven (Joanne) and Debbie Louise Elvin (Justin) and had three grandchildren.
In September 2003, he married and is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Tish) Taylor. They were sealed in the Orlando Florida LDS Temple in 2005. They moved to St. George, Utah, in 2011.
Colin loved athletics of any kind and in his younger years excelled in cricket and football (soccer). He retired as Owner/ CEO of Isocom Components Ltd. (UK) and Isocom, Inc., an international opto-electronics company.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at the St. James LDS Chapel, 1095 East St. James Lane, St. George.
- A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George and on Wednesday at 10 a.m., prior to services at the chapel.
- Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
