ST. GEORGE – For the 16th year, the annual Dixie Power Kite Festival soared into St. George Saturday, drawing spectators from all over Southern Utah with the promise of sunshine, kites in the sky and fun on the ground. This year’s festival took place at the SunRiver Golf Course.
Primarily sponsored by Dixie Power with support from a host of other local sponsoring businesses, the Dixie Power Kite Festival was created to encourage reading among local students and to promote family oriented physical activity.
