ST. GEORGE — A night of inspiration and dance by God’s Messengers Dance Company is set for Saturday and Monday, both at 7 p.m., at Dixie State University’s Eccles Theatre on the university campus, 225 S. University Avenue, St George.

Each piece will be about a different event in Christ’s life. While no person is representing Christ himself, there will be through lighting and effects.

The show titled, “A Tribute to the Life of Jesus Christ,” hopes to uplift and inspire, especially during the upcoming Easter holiday. The program is Christian based but not biased toward any one religion.
“It is just a really good dance production,” artistic director Misty Frisbey said. “The dancers are just amazing.”
The program is geared toward Christians and anyone who loves dance.
In the past, the dance company has received criticism for their name “God’s Messengers,” Frisbey said, but there are no plans to change it.
“Why would I take the man who gave His son out of the name?” Frisbey said. “I consider the dancers to be messengers.”
