ST. GEORGE — The annual St. George Bach Festival will be performed Saturday at 7 p.m. in the St. George Tabernacle and Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Sponsored by organist Geoffrey Myers and the Southwest Symphony Strings, the evening concerts will feature selected organ, piano, and string instrumental music of Johann Sebastian Bach, including some from the Brandenburg concertos.

Bach was a gifted musician and composer of the Baroque period. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest musician-composers of all time.

The St. George Bach Festival has been presented for more than 20 years in his honor. Participants are volunteer musicians from the Southern Utah area.
