About the Brown Bag Lecture series

These lectures are hosted every Friday by the Dixie Arizona Strip Interpretive Association, BLM, National Park Service, and Forest Service. The lectures provide unique opportunities for members of the public to learn more about the area’s natural resources and public lands. Speakers include geologists, range specialists, biologists, archaeologists, rangers and others who delve more deeply into subjects tied to the Arizona Strip and surrounding public lands.

The lectures bring the resources and public lands issues to the community’s doorstep, benefiting those who want to learn more about the region’s remote and rugged landscapes, cultures and people.
