The task force conducted a narcotics distribution investigation into Steven Shane Bowdidge, 47, of St. George, task force Detective Jim Jessop said in a probable cause statement supporting the arrest.

During the course of the three month investigation, the task force conducted a controlled buy of methamphetamine on three separate occasions in St. George through the use of a confidential informant who purchased meth from Bowdidge, the statement said.

Bowdidge was arrested and booked into the Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility.

He was charged with three second-degree felonies for drug distribution. His bail for release pending trial stands at $50,000.

Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

There are users and there are dealers. The dealers don’t care who uses. It could be your son or daughter any age, anytime, they dont discriminate.Get ’em all

For every one they get another one takes their place.. the war on drugs has been lost along time ago but it’s a way to get funding for the police departments and that’s pretty much the way.it is .. sorry about that but that’s the situation

If government is going to spend money on getting drugs off the street, I’d like them to concentrate their efforts on heroin and meth. Such bad drugs. Meth and heroin have a knack for turning a normal person into a menace to society. But I agree with you, the drug war is lost.

I agree with you free parking. It is a war that was lost. It was lost when it started in the ford/reagan administration and it turned in to being all about money/ funding
