ST. GEORGE — The final weekend of the 2015 St. George Area Parade of Homes will allow attendees one last chance to enjoy 28 custom-built homes in some of Southern Utah’s most scenic neighborhoods before the event’s last day on Sunday.

Presented by the Southern Utah Home Builders Association, also referred to as SUHBA, and Zions Bank, the St. George Area Parade of Homes is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The parade theme of “Frame Your Future” invites visitors to gather ideas for home building, remodeling or decorating.

The reaction to the homes this year has been incredible,” SUHBA Executive Officer Mari Smith said. “We’ve seen increased traffic in the homes — even on the weekdays.”

Together, the 28 homes have been visited more than 275,000 times through Thursday evening, as tracked by ticket QR codes that are scanned at the entrance of each home. In addition, online ticket sales are pacing 30 percent higher when compared to last year.

“The builders are thrilled with the turnout and are even more excited about the enthusiasm and interest in new home construction here in Washington County,” Smith said.

The 10-day, self-guided home tour will wrap up its final two days on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors will experience a diverse range of home designs, interiors and price points, which range from $350,000 to $1.8 million.

Ticketholders can visit each home once and are also allowed two re-entries to their favorite homes. Tickets are $15 and are available online, at the Red Cliffs Mall center court, Lin’s Market locations and Zions Bank branches in Washington County.

Tickets can be turned in to Boulevard Home Furnishings for a chance to win a 60-inch LG 1080p Smart LED TV, a $1,599 value, or a two-night retreat stay for two in a Luxury Villa at Red Mountain Resort, a $1,420 value.

The homes, located in Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara, St. George and Washington City, offer the latest in home innovations, including luxurious outdoor living spaces, guest casitas, indoor courtyards, water features, infinity edge pools, and green-building technologies. In addition, paradegoers will be able to speak with industry professionals at more than 130 exhibitor booths located in the garages of the homes.

Back by popular demand is the official St. George Area Parade of Homes mobile app for Android and Apple devices. The free app allows attendees to preview homes and floor plans, navigate to the parade homes, access an e-ticket, view a list of building professionals, and save notes and photos of favorite homes.
