ST. GEORGE — The Roy City Police Department is requesting the community’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl last seen by family members the night of Feb. 6 in Roy, Utah.
Kaylyn Renee Payne’s mother, Amanda DaSilva, said Payne climbed out of her window either late Friday night or in the early Saturday morning hours of Feb. 6.
“According to a few people she went to school with (at Roy Junior High School), she mentioned going to St. George,” DaSilva said Wednesday afternoon. “We have no clue why she would go there because we don’t know anyone in that area.”
“She does have a history of sneaking out to meet random guys she met online,” DaSilva said.
It is believed Payne left home without any money or extra clothing, the Police Department said in a press statement.
