On January 28, 2015, shortly after 9 p.m., Tiffany Lin Baker Fackrell entered into the embrace of a loving Father in Heaven. Tiffany was born on January 1, 1978, in Heber City, Utah, at 12:01 a.m. to Dianne and Dwight Baker. She was the first baby born in Utah that year. Since that day Tiffany’s radiating smile and loving blue eyes have brought happiness to everyone she met.
When she was 11 years old her life changed dramatically due to a crippling illness. She lost her ability to eat and drink as well as the ability to walk. The girl who loved to dance became wheelchair bound and tube fed, but that genuine smile of hers never faded. The pretty blonde girl with long hair and sparkling blue eyes who dashed around in a wheel chair quickly began touching hearts and comforting anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. For 26 years this little unconquerable angel delighted family, friends, and even strangers with her spirituality and genuine affection.
Despite a life filled with hospitals, surgeries, set-backs, and unrelenting physical pain she was the living embodiment of selflessness and kindness. Tiffany wanted people to feel important, needed, and loved. She always behaved in such a way as to bring out the best attributes from those around her. She devoted herself to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word, thought, and deed. Tiffany’s beautiful spirit now makes Heaven all the more radiant and glorious. No more pain, no more suffering, but peace and joy. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Tiffany is survived by her mother and father, Dwight and Dianne Baker; her sisters, Trisha, Christy, Angie, and Barbie; brothers, Curtis, Derek, and David. She is also survived by her eternal companion, Jason Fackrell, who loved her dearly and will forever be grateful for the 14 wonderful years he was blessed to be her husband.
After a courageous battle that stretched into decades, Tiffany passed away peacefully at the U of U Hospital in the presence of her mother and husband with many of her family in a nearby room. We love you, Tiffany, our precious angel with the beautiful smile.
