ST. GEORGE – The intersection of 1000 East and 100 South, near Dixie State University in St. George, saw a jumble of activity Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle T-bone collision.
At approximately 10:15 a.m., a woman driving a silver Ford, eastbound on 100 South, attempted to make a left-hand turn to go north on 1000 East, but failed to give the right-of-way to a blue minivan traveling west on 100 South, St. George Police Sgt. Dave Williams said.

The woman driving the blue minivan, attempting to cross through the intersection, T-boned the right side of the silver Ford after the driver turned in front of her, Williams said. At which point, he said, the silver Ford slid into a man driving a white Mitsubishi SUV who was waiting to turn right onto 100 South from 1000 East.
There were minor injuries reported, Williams said, including a laceration to the lip of one of the women.
Each of the vehicles carried single-occupants, he said. The silver Ford and the blue minivan were both incapacitated from the collision and had to be towed from the scene.
“The investigation is still ongoing but it appears the driver of the silver vehicle will be issued a citation,” Williams said at the scene shortly after the collision occurred.
Southbound traffic on 1000 East was impacted for some time as crews worked to clear glass and debris from the scene.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by the authorities and may not contain the full scope of findings. Persons cited are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

Oh shucky golly gee whiz another tragic incident. must maintain a politically correct comment with proper wording and a non comical point of view. This is a tragedy for the family of both sides but hopefully both parties are insured and medically covered. This is not a laughing situation for both sides and only sincere comments of serious nature should be allowed and hopefully all those involved will be able to move forward with their lives without any lingering set backs and both parties will experience a positive outcome from such a drastic mishap
How fast was the minivan going? That Ford received substantial damage.
I travel 100S daily. As the Speed Limit there is 30 mph I would guess the van was probably going between 40 and 45!
Would this be the DUMB PIE domino effect?
Gosh darn sniffers
