Just before 5 p.m., a man driving a red Dodge Viper, along with a woman passenger, was stopped at a stop sign on 1400 West facing southbound and preparing to turn left, St. George Police Officer Ean Williams said.

At the same time, a man driving a white Chevy pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Sunset Boulevard. As the Viper proceeded across westbound lanes to make a left-hand turn onto Sunset Blvd., it collided with the Chevy truck.

Gold Cross Ambulance, St. George Fire Department, and St. George Police officers responded to the scene.

The inside lane was blocked off for cleanup and to move the Viper out of the roadway. The man driving the Viper was issued a citation for failure to yield, Williams said, and the Viper was towed from the scene.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by responders on scene and may not contain the full scope of findings.

Perfect example that in a corrupt economy it’s not the intelligent the have money but the most dishonest. Only a person who is truly corrupt and stupid would buy a car like that without the ability to handle it.

EVERETT, you are absolutely correct. I’m like you, honest, intelligent and only make $275k a year. Guys like us can’t make it because those that lie, cheat, and steal never get caught by guys like us. Even though they are so corrupt and stupid, we can’t see it because we are so intelligent right? Our intelligence is so high we miss things like stupidity and corruption. You and I are so honest and smart we never get into accidents.
