BEAVER DAM, Arizona — The AZ Strip Riders Club rodeo series will soon hit calendars with the first event happening at the AZ Riders Arena, 100 Mitchell Drive in Beaver Dam, Arizona, on Jan. 25. Rodeo events include barrels, poles, single stake, goats and a draw event.

The rodeo will continue every month until the summer when they will head into Utah, resuming again in the fall. The events are free for spectators.

“This club was put together for the kids to learn about the sport and have good sportsmanship,” said Brandy Luscomb, AZ Strip Riders Club board member. “It’s not about who is better or fast here … it’s about having fun.”

Great pics of the kids horsing around! Kids who stay involved with this sort of thing rarely get into trouble. So nice to see this happening nearby.
