ST. GEORGE – The Utah Department of Transportation will reduce the number of available travel lanes on I-15 northbound at Exit 5 Monday and Tuesday to finish sealing road repairs conducted last week.
Road crews will be applying a final seal coat to an area where workers grinded out a bump in the northbound lanes.
Work is anticipated to begin on the main travel lanes at approximately 10 a.m. Monday. Traffic speed will be reduced to 55 miles per hour and through-traffic will be shifted to temporary lanes. Lane closures are expected to remain in place until approximately 4 p.m. to allow for proper curing.
Motorists are advised to use caution, follow the temporary signs and barrels and to prepare for minor delays.
