Charing Eddington Puskas, 67, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She was born November 26, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to Thomas Wadsworth Eddington and Edythe Gates. She married Larry Frank Puskas, October 30, 1976, in Conroe, Texas.
Charing was raised in Hermosa Beach, California, and was a long time resident of Manhattan Beach, California, where she attended Mira Costa High School. She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a degree in Anthropology. After raising two wonderful sons, she became a school teacher and retired from Torrance Unified School District where she taught at Victor Elementary School. She loved to travel, was an avid painter and photographer and loved the beach. To her family she was an amazing wife and mother. To everyone who knew her she was a great friend.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Larry Frank Puskas of Saint George, Utah; son Thomas Puskas of Seattle, Washington; son Michael James of Mobile, Alabama; a twin brother, Thomas Gates Eddington of Purcellville, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Wadsworth Eddington and Edythe Gates.
- Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah.
- Friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 1-2 pm. at the mortuary.
- Interment will take place at Tonaquint Cemetery.
