Pioneer activities, crafts for kids and living history demonstrations will take place. Staff will showcase tomahawk throwing, candle dipping and bread baking in a wood-fired bread oven. Freshly pressed apple cider will be available for all. Additionally, visitors will be able to practice woodworking skills in the Nelson Carpentry Shop and, of course, make the park’s well-known rag dolls and rope bracelets. Local fiber artists will be practicing their crafts, and a special watercolor exhibit by Dorothy Uherka is something that can’t be missed.

Following the day activities, Cedar residents can celebrate at the annual Cedar City Birthday Party at Frontier Homestead from 6-7:30 p.m.

Saturday promises to be a fun-filled day of adventure for the whole family. Step back in time with  Frontier Homestead Sate Park.
