Pamela Larsen Ridgway, daughter of the late Gerald James Larsen and Leola Petersen Larsen, and beloved wife of Russell Harold Ridgway, peacefully left this world on October 7, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters: Joyce Chatterton and DiAnn Hodges. Surviving is her beloved husband, Russell; step-daughter, Colleen Lurah (Charles) Grierson; and brother, Danny K (Christina) Larsen.
Pam has been a resident of St. George, Utah, for 24 years but grew up in Ogden, Utah, graduating with the first graduating class of Bonneville High School. Later she completed her education at Stevens Henagar. Pam was a valued employee at Hughes Aerospace for more than 20 years earning numerous commendations and awards for service excellence. She was an integral part of an elite team that sent Surveyors 1,2,3,4, and 5 for moon exploration, none of which would bother showing up without Pam. She excelled in all that she did. Pam had a reputation for fierce honesty, independence, and standing her ground. She was equally passionate about loving her family, to include her extended family. Every birthday and Christmas was personalized with a card and handwritten message of much love to all.
- A graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at St. George Cemetery, 700 East Tabernacle, St. George, Utah.
- A viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah, prior to services.
