ST. GEORGE — A raucous crowd say Desert Hills exact a little revenge Tuesday night.
The Thunder took three of four games from Hurricane and pulled into a tie for second with the Tigers with the win, 25-19, 25-17, 22-25, 25-9.
Hurricane had beaten DH in five earlier this season at HHS, but this time the Thunder left no doubt, winning the first two sets, then clinching the match with a dominant fourth game.
It was “pink out” night at DHHS to raise breast cancer awareness.
Both teams are now 7-2 in region play, a game and a half behind region-leader Snow Canyon, which is 8-0. The Warriors defeated Pine View Tuesday night.
Region action resumes Thursday night with Canyon View at Dixie and Pine View at Desert Hills and Hurricane at Snow Canyon.
