ST. GEORGE—United Way Dixie in partner with Cherry Creek Radio is excited to announce the Ball Drop for Charity Prize Giveaway with the ultimate grand prize giveaway of a car sponsored by Premier Car and Truck, a pool  table valued at $6,000 thanks to KCSG Television, a $1,000 cash prize and an iPad both courtesy of Southwest Community Credit Union. Gift cards, spa packages, electronics, golf packages, trips and more will also be among the winnings.

This one of a kind prize giveaway will be featured at the Live United live – Music Festival Sept. 27 at Town Square which will benefit 17 local non-profit charities. Watch as up to 4,000 numbered balls are lifted up in a truck and then dropped onto the grass area during the live radio broadcast with Big Kickin Country 94.9 FM.

UPDATE Sept. 27: Due to the rain and threat of lightning, the ball drop / prize giveaways are postponed to a later date to be announced. People can still by balls online until the ball drops, by making a donation at United Way Dixie.

Depending on where your numbered ball lands will determine what prize you win. Dropping of the numbered balls will be at 4 p.m. with honorary guest Mayor Jon Pike showing his support as he measures and announces the grand prize winners onsite.

Each numbered ball is $5 or 5 balls for a $20 donation. There will be 100 percent of the funds raised going directly to 17 local nonprofit organizations who provide critical human service programs in the Washington County Area.
