WASHINGTON CITY — A man checked himself into Dixie Regional Medical Center Monday evening for a possible ankle injury after a female driver made an improper left turn and collided with his vehicle on Green Springs Drive in Washington.

At about 6:30 p.m., a female driver in a white passenger car pulled out of Albertsons parking lot, 915 W. Red Cliffs Drive, and attempted to make a left turn onto Green Springs Drive. The driver then collided with a gray Honda Civic that was traveling southbound on Green Springs Drive, Washington City Police Public Information Officer Ed Kantor said.

The adult male driver of the Civic checked himself into Dixie Regional Medical Center for a possible ankle injury as a result of the accident. The female driver of the white vehicle was cited for making an improper left turn, Kantor said.

At least one vehicle was towed from the scene.
