WASHINGTON CITY – The magic of Neverland has captured imaginations for decades, and Southern Utah residents will have a chance to embrace its magic as Brigham’s Playhouse celebrates its fifth show, “Peter Pan: A New Musical,” which opened Aug. 8 and continues for a six-week run.
Written by cousins Jordan Beck and Jonathan May, this show has touched countless hearts since its debut, and the production sold out to audiences in California. Brigham’s Playhouse members hope the show, directed by company member Beau Brewster, will have a similar impact on audiences in Southern Utah, according to a press release.
This new musical version of the classic story emphasizes themes of home, family and faith. Audiences can watch Wendy and her brothers learn important life lessons as Peter Pan and his clan of Lost Boys fight off Captain Hook and his crew of silly pirates.
The show’s beautiful music, charming lyrics and dancing pirates will leave audiences wanting to return to Neverland again and again.
Tickets can be purchased on the Brigham’s Playhouse website or by calling 435-251-8000. Brigham’s Playhouse is located at 25 N. 300 West in Washington. Follow Brigham’s Playhouse on Facebook and Twitter for coupons and promotions.
