ST. GEORGE – A woman allegedly involved in a bank robbery Thursday in St. George and resulting high-speed chase and standoff that ended in Nevada had been identified as Sandeep Kaur, 24, out of Union City, California, and charged with felonies in two states, among other lesser charges.
On Thursday, a person described as wearing a dark hoodie, large dark sunglasses, a surgical mask, and dark pants walked into the US Bank at 791 S. Bluff Street and handed a teller a note. The teller complied and the suspect walked out with the note and an undisclosed amount of money. Another bank employee followed the suspect outside and was able to get a description of the suspect’s car for police.

“They followed the vehicle until Arizona Highway Patrol arrived and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle,” Olmstead wrote.“The vehicle failed to respond to the officer’s signal to stop and a high speed pursuit followed into the State of Nevada.”
