MOAB — After the closure of many featured trails at Arches National Park, including Landscape Arch, Double O Arch and Dark Angel, the Devils Garden renovation project has been completed and the Devils Garden trailhead reopened Monday morning.
The purpose of this renovation project was to construct a dedicated tour bus and large RV parking area as well as re-align the road to create more efficient angled parking to aid in decreasing vehicular congestion as popularity and visitations have increased.
Arches National Park gained about 45 more parking spaces — totaling a 40 percent increase in parking capacities — and is working toward further parking space expansion, said Chief of Maintenance for Arches and Canyonlands John Lewis.
An environmental assessment pertaining to Wolf Ranch Parking Lot, located at the access point to the Delicate Arch Trail, has been composed and if accepted would almost double its parking capacity.
“This has definitely been a record-breaking year,” Lewis said. “We’ve gone up about 5 percent annually but already right now year-to-date we’re up 16 percent.”

Don’t know where in Arches this one canyon is (cause i’ve only been there once) but, this canyon is so amazing with its high thin rock walls and it seems to go on forever. The glory of it is so beautiful.
