Kyle Anthony Parras, 19, was arrested and charged with one second-degree felony for drug possession, one class A-misdemeanor for drug paraphernalia, and two class B-misdemeanors for interfering with an arrest and retail theft.

According to the probable cause statement filed by Washington City Police Officer Tyson Dove, Dove responded to a report of retail theft at the convenience store. After making contact with the alleged suspect, Parras admitted to stealing four packs of gum from the store.

While searching Parras, Dove said in the charging documents that he found syringes and a black substance which Parras admitted was heroin.

“Upon placing Kyle into handcuffs,” Dove wrote in the statement, “he struggled and resisted officers attempts to control his wrists.”

Parras’ drug-related charges were enhanced for being in a drug-free zone – the location of his arrest was within 1,000 feet of the Washington City Justice Court and other Washington City office buildings.

Parras was booked into Washington County’s Purgatory Correctional Facility. According to booking information, his bail stands at $13,109.

Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

They’ve pawned all of their computer like devices, for more dope

Dam right Brian. Some people would simply die if their body wouldn’t breathe for them.

you need to shut your mouth Brian. You do not know the struggles that these kids are going through. This is a real illness. Have some respect. This young man has many people that care for him

Heroine hypes steal….plain and simple! No pity or respect for hypes at all.
Tara, you need to get a clue. Illness??? you’re kidding right??? Sorry Tara, not an illness. It’s a choice. This hype got what he deserved. Everybody struggles through life…..but not everybody steals from others.

yep, you got that right El JEFE. And Tara come on now come back to reality its a choice not an illness, but you can pray for them.

  • My Evil Twin June 22, 2014 at 7:33 pm

Tara, why should anyone have any respect for this clown? He obviously has none for himself. Quit being an enabler and get a life.

  • ladybugavenger June 22, 2014 at 7:52 pm

  • guy June 22, 2014 at 9:07 pm

Yeah Tara you enabler junkies are junkies it sucks but its true glad he is off the street. Now its gum next time he breaks into your house

  • THAT GUY June 23, 2014 at 3:53 am

Seriously have you ever heard the saying if you can’t be trusted with little things how can you be trusted with big things? So if he stole gum less the 5.00 $ what makes you think he would not steal your purse, your Ipod, your camera, your Xbox, your car ect. I have had enough of idiots defending junkies and looking the other way as they pull this crap. If they really loved them they would stop hiding there addiction and covering for them, unstead the would make them face the truth and get help. Unfortunately many will not admit that their son, daughter, brother, sister, niece, nephew, mom, or dad is an addict for the selfish reason that it will make them look bad. Suck it up buttercup grow a spine and show them some tough love. Stop pretending it is not happening in your house. Address the issue as a family and save them from their self, before it is to late. I hate visiting my neice’s grave knowing that as a family, we could have done more when we first saw she had a problem.

obviously you people have not had a close loved one with a Chemical dependency issue! maybe you all should consider taking some classe Or reading up on addiction. your ignorance is very sad.

  • THAT GUY June 23, 2014 at 7:18 pm

No Tara it is your ignorance that is showing . Are you an addict yourself ? Or are you just one of those that want to blame others for the crimes that your strung out junkie friends committed ? If you read my post you would see I indeed have first hand knowledge of drug addiction and have lost a dearly loved one to it. Quit making excuse’s for it and stop trying to justifying it. You are only making yourself look like a fool.

His older brother died a few years ago when he was like 15. He is probably still dealing with that pain and using drugs to help him get through it. I hope he gets the treatment he needs and recovers.
