Joleen Strickley Hansen passed away May 26, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 15, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married the love of her life Gerald R. Hansen on Feb. 6, 1953 and sealed in the L.A Temple in 1965. Their love was love at first sight and grew stronger with each passing day.
Joleen was a woman with a huge heart that touched the lives of everyone she met. She will never be forgotten. “When someone you love becomes a memory- the memory becomes a treasure”
She is survived by her children Jerry Lee and Lisa Hansen, Robin Jean and Michael Bell, and many grandchildren and great-grand children, which she adored and treasured with all of her heart.
She proceeded in death by her husband, two sons and many other friend and family.
Funeral Services
- Visitation will be held May 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the Spilsbury Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 25 North 2000 West, Hurricane, UT.
- A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m.
- Interment will be in the LaVerkin City Cemetery. Family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Spilsbury Mortuary to help with service costs.
