With the population of Washington County we need a Level 1 Trauma Center!!

I was talking with a friend that works at the hospital, and he said we have 2 neurosurgeons, and they can handle almost any kind of surgery and trauma when one of them is there, but the hospital isn’t setup to handle the high level of care needed after the surgery. They’ll also need more like 4+ neurosurgeons so at least one is always available, 24/7/365. The hospital is adding a new wing and a bunch of new OR’s, so we’re definitely heading in that direction.
