Carole Pahl, age 76, of Mesquite NV passed away May 14, 2014 at 1:30 in the afternoon of natural causes. She was born August 8, 1937 in Gillette, WY to Halbert and Ethel Reno Matheson.
Carole was raised on her parents’ ranch in Gillette, WY for many years. She loved branding cattle, shearing sheep and all ranch life in general. In 1963, Carole had the desire to go to cosmetology school in Casper, WY. Upon graduating Carole moved to Tensleep, WY and opened her own salon. Carole spent time in Rock Springs, WY and Driggs, ID, before she retired to Idaho Falls, ID and eventually moved to Mesquite, NV to enjoy the sunshine and a lower climate.
She loved sewing, crocheting, painting, the grandkids, the great outdoors, and her many various pets. She once drove powder puff stock cars (and a mean golf cart) and loved every thrilling minute of it. Carole had a love for motorcycles and was a long time member of the Christian Motorcycle Association where she met her dearest friend Cinda Hammond who was her prayer partner and confidant. She even took a ride or two on her son in-law Tim’s motorcycle and enjoyed the sun on her skin and the wind in her hair. But most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was totally dependent on his care for her to the very end.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Sandra Tanner of Big Piney, WY, son, Gary (Cynthia) Huckins of Elko, NV, daughter, Kim (Tim) Rock of White Sulfur Springs, MT, daughter, Kenna Dobbs of St. George, UT; grandchildren, Mindy Tanner, Toni Tanner, Tracy Guderyahn Henderson, Donnie Huckins, Shane Huckins, Boe Huckins, Coey (Janae) Huckins, Mandy (Travis) Rockefeller, Haley (Nic) Whalen and great grandchildren, Skyker Huckins, Jeffrey, Lonnie, and Daysa Thompson, Ryan Spangler, Taylor, and Brandie Bean, Asa and Joe Hendersen, Conley and Arah Rockefeller, Wyatt and Deizl Huckins.
Funeral Services

- Services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2 (NV time) p.m. at the Living Waters Fellowship, 211 W. First South Suite C Mesquite, NV 89027.
- A coffee hour will follow immediately after the service.
