HURRICANE — A man in his 60s was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George Friday morning after his truck went off the road near 2800 West on Sand Hollow Rd.
The driver was traveling westbound on Sand Hollow Road near 2800 West when his 2013 Chevy Silverado pickup truck veered off the road, Hurricane Police Sgt. Brandon Buell said.
St. George Communications Center received the accident report from OnStar at approximately 8:20 a.m., which then dispatched responders.
The man reportedly suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital in stable condition, Buell said. The pickup truck had to be towed.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. This report is based on preliminary information provided by police and may not contain the full scope of findings.
