ST. GEORGE — On Sunday the Washington County Drug Task Force arrested two men on drug-related charges after a search warrant was served at the residence of one of the men.
The warrant was served at the home of Patrick B Terrell, 55, of St. George. Upon entering the premises police found Terrell to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine, enough to be distributed, said St. George Police Lt. Mark Brklacich.
The Drug Task Force had an ongoing investigation against Terrell for narcotics distribution and the warrant was served as a result of their findings, said Brklacich.
While at the residence, a second male, identified as Stanley Eugene Swickey, 49, of St. George, was also arrested on narcotics possession and distribution charges, said Brklacich.
Swickey is being charged with felony paraphernalia possession, misdemeanor drug possession and felony drug distribution. He is currently being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility.
Terrell is being charged with felony drug distribution and is currently being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility. His bail is set at over $100,000.
Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact. His bail is set at $17,400.
