Mark Allen Garvaglia Jones passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in St. George, Utah. He was born October 10, 1967 to Jean and Ted Garvaglia at the Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was later adopted, loved and raised by his step-dad, Steven Jones.
Mark attended school in Enterprise, graduating from High School in 1984. Following high school, he attended Dixie Junior College on a music scholarship, playing the tuba in the college bands and orchestra. He then attended Sevier Valley Tech in Richfield, graduating from the diesel mechanic school. Mark worked with his family on the family farm and was President of JJJ Trucking. He delivered horse hay to local markets and to Nevada.
Mark is survived by his parents, Steven and Jean Jones; his sisters, Karen (Mark Hiatt), Kathy, Cynthia; nieces and nephews, Emilee, Samantha, Tyler and Jackson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Enterprise Stake Center.
- There will be a viewing Thursday evening, April 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, and also on Friday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the stake center.
- Interment will take place in the Enterprise Cemetery.

Mark will be greatly missed throughout our Valley, Town and Church!! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jones Family!! May they feel Peace in their Hearts knowing that Mark is at home with Heavenly Father.
The last time I visited with Mark he was attending my Aunt Sandra Cowleys funeral….he was quick with a smile and sweet as always! Tell my Brother Dave Hello for me Mark and I will see you both again someday! Hugs and prayers sent to all of his family!
