Hurricane Police seek suspect in armed robbery

HURRICANE – Police are seeking a man suspected of being involved in the armed robbery of a pharmacy Monday morning.

Around 9:49 a.m., police responded to the report of an armed robbery at a pharmacy at 2000 West 25 North. They were told the suspect was in possession of a firearm, the Hurricane City Police said in a statement.

The suspect is described as a male and is between 6 feet 1 and 6 feet 3 inches tall, and possibly weighs around 250 to 260 pounds. He was described as having facial hair and wearing a hoodie and face mask at the time of the robbery.

The subject fled the scene on foot and was seen heading south across State Street. The incident is actively being investigated.
