MOAB – The name of the man killed while BASE jumping in Mineral Canyon Friday has been released by the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.
Kevin Morroun, 35, fell 400 feet to his death Friday evening after BASE jumping from an area called “the sweet spot” in Mineral Canyon, one mile east of the Mineral Bottom boat launch, according to a press release from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.
Morroun’s body was recovered the following day by members of Grand County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team.
