Dixie Forum’s Window series looks into ‘The Billionaires Classroom’

ST. GEORGE – Dixie State University’s weekly noontime “Dixie Forum: A Window on the World” series continues Tuesday with a presentation entitled “The Billionaires Classroom” by Dana Telford, senior consultant for the Family Business Consulting Group. The forum will be held in the Dunford Auditorium of the Browning Resource Center on the DSU campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Telford has 15 years of experience solving family business problems, and specializes in succession planning, family governance, board effectiveness, strategy, entrepreneurship and conflict management. He has advised hundreds of business families on six continents and in more than 18 different countries. Previous clients include members of the Forbes List of the world’s wealthiest, a royal family and founders of some of the world’s largest organizations.

The Dixie Forum is a lecture series designed to introduce Dixie students, faculty, and the St. George community to diverse ideas and personalities and to widen their world views. Dixie students can earn one college credit by signing up for HUM 1000, attending lectures regularly, carefully considering the ideas expressed, and writing about the presentations.
