HURRICANE — Registration for the Tri-State ATV Jamboree closes on Wednesday Feb. 19. This yearly gathering of ATV enthusiasts who come to mingle and ride Southern Utah’s ATV trails will be held March 12-15 in Hurricane.

The 11th Jamboree includes 21 guided trail rides, an ATV rodeo, ice cream social, poker run, barbecue dinner and breakfast will be served each morning.  Participants who sign up also get a T-shirt and chances to win prizes.

Guided trail rides extend throughout Southern Utah and northern Arizona, and include visits to dinosaur track and petroglyph sites, the ghost town of Grafton, a gold mine, silver mining sites, and lots of desert and mountain vistas sprinkled with red rocks and sand.

More than 500 participants are expected to converge on the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hurricane with their off-highway ATVs and side-by-sides. Number of participants is limited, so ATV-UTV riders interested in signing up should do so ASAP, Chairman Glen Zumwalt said.

Riders may sign up for the rides they desire beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at the fairgrounds pavilion. The ATV rodeo will begin at 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds, and includes the blind man race, barrel racing and ATV pulls. Exhibits from a number of vendors and agencies will be located in and around an outside pavilion. The public is welcome to attend Wednesday’s activities.

Register online at ATVUtah.com. Fee per participant is $110 and covers everything, including trail fees.  For additional information contact 435-705-9628.
