Jonathan Weston Twiggs

Twiggsjonathan obit(May 28, 1988 – February 6, 2014)

Jonathan Weston Twiggs, beloved son of Ted and MaryAnn Maughan Twiggs, passed away February 6, 2014 at his home in Santa Clara, Utah. He was born May 28, 1988 at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Tempe, Arizona. He weighed 8 lbs 3 ½ oz and was 21 inches long. He was a big baby and proceeded to grow into a huge boy. He finally grew to be 6 ft 4 in tall. The whole family “looked up” to him.

Jonathan attended Santa Clara Elementary, Snow Canyon Middle School and graduated from Snow Canyon High School with a little help from his mom and his friends.

Jonny loved playing bass guitar and jamming with his friends. He actually toured with the band “Medea” for four months. He loved his computer and spent much time LANing with his friends, which brought him a lot of joy.

Jonny was a sensitive person and worried about the world’s problems and could not accept many of the world’s atrocities. Even still, he had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party. He loved his family and did not tolerate anyone “badmouthing” them.

Jonny had many friends who have stuck by him, as has his family, through many trying years. We are receiving some comfort in knowing he is finally at peace.

He is survived by his parents, Ted and MaryAnn Twiggs; brother, Josh; sisters: Jessica Twiggs (Steve Crossett) and Kimberly (Jared) Dunkley; grandmother, Sandra Dance Twiggs; nieces: Ellie, June and Gwen Dunkley and Lola Twiggs. He was received by his grandparents: Jerry Twiggs and Howard and Venice Maughan. He is loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
