Patricia Davison Wright

Wright, PatriciaAfter a full & blessed life, Patricia Davison Wright peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014.  Born 85 years ago in the Deep South, she was blessed to be raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by her parents, Glen & Irma Walley McLain, along with her 2 sisters, Carolyn (Wayne) Roderick & RoseMary (Ronald) Lohman.

While serving a full time ‘Southern States’ mission for the Church, she met & later married fellow missionary, Ralph E. Berrett, in the Logan Temple.  Born to them were Michael (Leslie), Brenda (Charles) Bailey & twins, Shelley (Scholzen) & Kelley (Larry) Ward.  They later divorced & Patricia eventually married wildlife cinematographer, Robert W. Davison (deceased).  They were blessed with a son, Shawn.

A widow for many years, Patricia remarried in the fall of her life, William M. Wright (now deceased).

Preceding Patricia in death were her parents, husbands, son Michael, grandson Andrew M. Berrett, & son-in-law, Gregg C. Callaghan.

Patricia is survived by her children, 12 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren & counting!  Patricia also felt loved & blessed by Leslie’s husband, Paul L. Peay & former son & daughter-in-law, Keith V. Scholzen & Dana M. Davison.

The family wishes to thank the Spring Gardens Assisted Living staff, especially the memory care unit’s wonderful & loving staff; Dr’s Hagen, Haberle & Nimer, along with their expert staff, for the care they afforded Patricia.

Funeral Services

  • Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah.
  • A viewing prior to the service will start at noon.
  • Interment will be in the Santa Clara City Cemetery.

    Patricia was such a dear lady. She took the adversity with grace and lived an example of joy and kindness. She will be greatly missed.
