On June 25, 1955 she married her husband, Charles Taylor Schneider; a year later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Pat or, Patsy, as her family and friends called her, had many talents- too many list. She loved to paint and was an amazing artist. She was an excellent seamstress. Telling stories and writing poetry was a favorite past time especially when surrounded by family. A big family gathering, with games, was her favorite place to be. She loved to study the Gospel of Jesus Christ and used her depth of knowledge to share her testimony. Pat loved working in the Oakland, Nauvoo and St George temples. Elder and Sister Schneider served three missions. Their first mission was in Ireland, the second to Nauvoo, Illinois, and finally a family history mission in Canada.
She is survived by her husband, nine daughters and one son, 43 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one sister. Her surviving children in the St. George area include Linda Galyean, Leslie Smith Fisher, Laurie Thompson, LeeAnne Stanard, Christina Ward, Suzy Harrington and their spouses.
