Game outlook: Azusa Pacific has the unfortunate exclusivity of facing Dixie State after a loss again. After Dixie’s first loss, APU came to St. George and got pounded by 24 points. Dixie suffered its second loss Saturday to Cal Baptist. APU has beaten some good teams and now have the Red Storm in its environs at the Felix Event Center. Groskreutz returned against Cal Baptist but played limited minutes, as did Garrett. Robbins and Rex dominated the Cougars with their height in the first game, posting double-doubles. They will need to step up again on the road to keep pace with Cal Baptist and Hawaii Pacific in the conference standings. Thompson will need to step up if Groskreutz is still out. Thompson has shown flashes this season where he can take over a game.
