Rebecca “Becca” Bracken, age 48, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2014 at her home in Beryl, Utah. She was born January 23, 1965 in St. George, Utah, to Elroy and Ada Ann Pendleton Wulfenstein.
Becca was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary Presidency and in Young Women’s.
Becca received her degree as a CNA and also received her 2nd degree Brown Belt in Karate. She was an accomplished artist and an amazing cook. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery and loved to travel.
There was nothing that was more important to her than her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by the love of her life her husband, Tyler Bracken; her mother, Ada Ann Pratt; children, Ty William Johnson, Jocie Ann Barnum (Seth) Wilkerson, Holly Meeks (Ryan) Baird, Matthew (Kayla) Meeks, and Newell “Newt” Meeks; stepchildren, Natasha Cluff, Bobbie Bracken, Tyler Collins Bracken and M. Liza Bracken; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Lorna) Wulfenstein, LuAnn Kahus, Kelvin (Kimball) Jones, Douglas (Tina) Wulfenstein, Valorie (Howard) Cottam, David Wulfenstein, Murrin Wulfenstein, Victoria Wulfenstein; sisters-in-law, Marsha Bowler, Stacie Butler and Lorrie Thurston; and her precious cat, Gato. She is preceded in death by her father, Elroy Wulfenstein; PaPa, Leland Pratt; niece, Nicole Cottam; grandmothers, Laura Pendleton and Velma Hall; stepbrother, Kenneth Pratt; and stepsister, Barbara Fielding.
- Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, UT.
- There will be a viewing one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
