HURRICANE — Hurricane police have arrested Stacy Barnard, 43, for allegedly starting the trailer fire that killed one person early Wednesday morning.
Barnard was arrested today and charged with aggravated arson after investigators found evidence that led them to believe that accelerant was used to start the blaze that took the life of an adult male who was in the trailer when it caught fire, Hurricane Police Sgt. Brandon Buell wrote in a statement.
“Evidence shows (Barnard) was living in the residence and was in a relationship with a male, and it was determined that the deceased subject was male,” Buell wrote.
Police are awaiting the results of a medical examination before they release the identity of the victim. Buell said additional charges may be filed against Barnard, pending the outcome of the medical examination and autopsy. Barnard is being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility where bail has been set at $100,000.

Hurricane Police also arrested a man, same last name but 19 years younger, today. He was picked up on warrants, but ya gotta wonder…
There are some pieces missing in this puzzle.
I wonder. There is more to this. Any more details available?
