(1976 – 2013)

Every morning I read the daily obituaries and now it is my turn to write my own. I was born at LDS hospital on February 20, 1976 to Al and Nancy Rounds. I am the oldest of six girls and one boy. I am the mother of two beautiful girls, Lydia Dylan and Brooklyn Michelle, and wife to Joshua David Haycock.

I married my best friend in the Salt Lake Temple August 20, 1996. He treats me like a queen, loves me unconditionally, and I am going to greatly miss him. He is an amazing man who will take care of our girls. Lydi and Brooki, I want you to be happy, keep living life to its fullest, remember who you are, always choose the right, and do the things you know you should do. Know that you are a child of God and you can pray to Him whenever you need to. You are here to serve and have a special purpose. I don’t know what that purpose is, but I will always be a part of it.

People ask me all the time what my hobbies are or what I like to do and it’s hard because my life is my kids and I like to do what they like. I love music and art. I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My testimony is very personal and I hold it dear to me, but I want my girls to always know that I know I am now in heaven with my Heavenly Father, Savior Jesus Christ and all those who have passed before us. I miss you all already but I know I will see you again because families are forever.

I leave behind my loving husband, Josh; daughters, Lydia and Brooklyn; father, Al (Cynthia); mother, Nancy; five sisters: Ashlie (Jamie), Whitnie (Gary), McKinsie (Zach); Quinn “Ghost” (Bryan), and Hadi; brother, Andy; cousins and others who have helped me. Preceded in death by my grandparents, Sammie Beck, Kent and Cenella Rounds and my niece, Zoie.
