Hard Freeze Advisory for Washington, Iron Counties

SOUTHWEST UTAH – The National Weather Service has issued a “Hard Freeze Advisory” in effect from midnight tonight to 9 a.m. Friday in southwest Utah.

Areas affected

The valleys of southwest Utah, including the cities of Beaver, Cedar City and Milford.

Temperatures

Minimum temperatures as low as 26 degrees F.

Impacts

The cold temperatures will impact sensitive vegetation.

Precautionary/Preparedness actions

A hard freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
