SOUTHERN UTAH – Dust off the lederhosen and throw on the dirndls, it’s time for the 21st Oktoberfest in Brian Head. The celebration starts this Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and continues on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Brian Head’s family-friendly Oktoberfest, emulating the more than 200-year-old celebration known around the world, will delight guests with Oomph band and dancing, food, libations, kid’s play scape, bounce house and face painting, and much more. Oktoberfest 2013 will also see the return of traditional German food like brats, pretzels, dumplings, potato Salad, strudel and more.
Out under the tents, the traditional Oktoberfest will be held at a new location this year, Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa, where guests may also enjoy all the regional crafts and booths at the Der Marktplaz and see the vibrant fall foliage at 10,000 feet.
This free event is sponsored in part by Brian Head Town, Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa, and Cherry Creek Radio.

The article only mentioned food….What about the ice cold tall boyz?
I know! And I can’t believe the editors didn’t put a black bar over the beer mugs in the photo, or superimpose juice boxes on top of them or something!
Josh, I believe you need to re-read the article, it states that libations will be served. I’m assuming the writer was looking for a conservative way to say BEER!
