GARFIELD COUNTY – An extreme thunderstorm swept through the Sand Wash and Lime Kiln area approximately five miles northeast of Panguitch Monday afternoon causing severe flooding on agricultural areas, homes and livestock.
The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reported the flood caused thousands of dollars in property damage, though no homes were flooded, just the area around them. No people or animals were injured during the flooding.
